About
I have completed BDS from Himachal Dental College, Sundernagar, HP in 2003 and MDS in Pediatric and Preventive Dentistry from Subharti Dental College & Hospital, Meerut in 2008.
Currently I am working as Professor and Head, Department of Pediatric Dentistry at Seema Dental College and Hospital, Rishikesh. I have 13 years experience of teaching undergraduate and postgraduate dental students both academics and clinical work in the field of pediatric dentistry. Published more than 20 papers in national and international dental journals. I am presently on the reviewer panel for various national dental journals (IJCPD, IJDS, IJDR, IJPM etc)
I am a life member of the IAPD (International Association of Pediatric Dentistry), ISPPD (Indian Society of Pedodontics and Preventive Dentistry), SAAPD (South Asian Association Of Pediatric Dentistry) and the IDA (Indian Dental Association).
I am a member of the examination panel in dental colleges for both undergraduate and postgraduate exams .
Bieng proficient in diagnosis and treatment planning for oral ailments of infants, children, and adolescents I am adept in managing patients with behavioral problems or handicapping conditions and treating children both in conscious sedation as well as under general anesthesia. I take keen interest in guiding undergraduate and postgraduate dental students in research activities, publications, presenting scientific papers, posters & essay competitions at various national conferences. My research interest includes forensic dentistry, Oro-facial syndromes and endodontic revascularization techniques.
