About

Mr. Vinay Shimpi is a native of Bilaspur city from state of Chhattisgarh, India. In year 2013 he received his Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Civil Engineering from Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekanand Technical University, Bhilai, India. In year 2016, he completed his Master of Technology (M.Tech.) in Structural Engineering from National Institute of Technology Raipur, Raipur, Chhattisgarh, India and meanwhile gaining specific interest towards the structural dynamics and seismic analysis of the structures. Afterwards, he joined as the Junior Research Fellow for Dr. Madappa VR Sivasubramanian’s one of the research projects funded by Seismology division, Ministry of Earth Sciences. Subsequently, he enrolled for the Doctoral degree (Ph.D.) under the guidance of Dr. Madappa VR Sivasubramanian. During the course of time, Dr. Madappa VR Sivasubramanian and he published four technical papers published in peer reviewed journals. In 2021, he was awarded with the Coalition of Disaster Resilient Infrastructure (CDRI) fellowship 2022 of amount USD 15000 for his research proposal.
