About
I am a faculty member and consultant neurologist at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, India. I have background training in Internal Medicine, Neurology and a post-doctoral fellowship in Movement Disorders (2015). As a clinician-researcher, I am driven by the need to seek pathophysiologically targeted solutions to clinical problems. My research focuses on the electrophysiology, genetics and therapeutics of dystonia, tremor and Parkinson’s disease in Indian patients. Developing and delivering cost effective and accurate diagnostic modalities for tremor and dystonia are key priorities. Our multidisciplinary work extends to the domains of biomedical engineering, computational science and health systems research.
