About
To briefly introduce myself, I hold a B.Tech in Biotechnology from Government College of Technology, Coimbatore, and pursued my M.Tech in Biotechnology from PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore. With a passion for academia and research, coupled with more than one year of valuable teaching experience as an assistant professor at Sri Shakthi Institute of Engineering and Technology, Coimbatore. I have actively dedicated myself to imparting knowledge and nurturing the growth of emerging talents in this field. I recently completed my PhD thesis, titled "Phycoremediation of Textile Industrial Wastewater using Spirulina Platensis and Native Algal Isolates: Performance Optimization, Pollutant Removal, and Biomass Reutilization," under the supervision of Professor Dr. M. Arivazhagan in the Department of Chemical Engineering at the National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli (NIT Trichy). My doctoral research focused on environmental biotechnology with a strong emphasis on textile industrial wastewater treatment through phycoremediation, biomass reutilization, adsorption, and electrochemical treatment technologies. My research interests include wastewater treatment, phycoremediation, biofuels, adsorption processes, microbial and algal biotechnology, and sustainable environmental management. I am passionate about addressing environmental challenges through innovative biotechnological solutions and am committed to contributing to the advancement of sustainable practices in our ecosystem.
