Dr. Rahul Kumar is a Microbiologist and Assistant Professor with expertise in Medical Microbiology, Clinical Microbiology, Infectious Diseases, Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR), One Health, Translational Biomedical Research, and Molecular Diagnostics. He earned his Ph.D. in Microbiology from Graphic Era Deemed to be University, Dehradun, India. He has more than 12 years of combined experience in clinical diagnostics, pathology laboratory services, teaching, and research.

His research focuses on antimicrobial resistance, antimicrobial peptides, infectious diseases, food safety microbiology, environmental microbiology, microbial biotechnology, neurobiology, biosensor technologies, precision medicine, and AI-enabled healthcare systems. He has extensive expertise in PCR/RT-PCR, molecular diagnostics, microbial culture, antimicrobial susceptibility testing, clinical pathology, laboratory quality management, and scientific writing.

Dr. Kumar has established an outstanding academic and research profile with 40 peer-reviewed research and review publications in SCI/SCIE and Scopus-indexed international journals, 50 published book chapters with leading international publishers including Springer, Elsevier, Wiley, CRC Press, CABI, and IGI Global, 40 published and granted patents/designs, 1 international academic book, 6 GenBank (NCBI) nucleotide sequence submissions, and 1 published conference proceeding chapter.

He has actively presented his research at national and international conferences, received recognition for his scientific contributions, and served as a conference organizing committee member. His interdisciplinary collaborations span microbiology, biotechnology, agriculture, environmental science, neuroscience, biomedical engineering, and artificial intelligence, reflecting his commitment to developing innovative solutions for global health and sustainable development.

Dr. Kumar is committed to excellence in teaching, research, innovation, and mentorship. His long-term vision is to advance translational microbiology and One Health research by integrating microbiology, biotechnology, precision diagnostics, and digital health technologies to improve human, animal, and environmental health worldwide.
