About

Naomi is the Head of Kavi Labs, the innovation and incubation arm of Kavi Global. She is an extremely passionate Data Scientist and Product Management Consultant with over a decade of experience using Data Analytics, AI, and Design Thinking to deliver business value with tangible ROI.

At Kavi Labs, she partners with clients and research institutions to co-create exciting new analytical solutions by utilizing emerging technologies. She is skilled at using technology such as machine learning, artificial intelligence, and computer vision to design innovative products with a user-centric focus that delights users.

Naomi’s deep business expertise comes from her cross-industry experience in healthcare, finance, and manufacturing during both her time at Kavi Global doing cross-industry consulting, as well as the 5 years she spent at GE prior. Naomi worked in GE Capital, is a graduate of GE’s Digital Leadership Program, and was a founding member of the Global Services Analytics Team at GE Healthcare. The digital product suite of solutions Naomi built at GE identified over $5M of commercial growth opportunity and realized several million dollars of cost savings opportunities.

Naomi has a Master of Science in Analytics from Northwestern University. She received a dual Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science & Applied Psychology from Ithaca College. She also holds a certificate in Business Management from Indiana University. Naomi is a published author of 97 Things Everyone in Data Science Should Know about Ethics. She also has 5 research publications in scientific journals. She is a founding member of the board of Springer’s AI Ethics Scientific Journal. She has presented AI and IoT solutions at 12+ conferences including INFORMS Annual Meeting, Spark Data & AI Summit, IoT Slam, & Women Breaking Barriers in Data Science at Northwestern University.

Outside of work, Naomi enjoys sharing her piano improvisations on YouTube.
