About

Experience of three decades as a teacher, trainer and a learner motivates me to engage and explore creative pedagogical approaches to make learning a pleasant experience towards successful life. As a teacher educator of Science Education, I am a practitioner of value-added teaching to internalise science as a tool for optimistic progress of life. The philosophical, sociological and psychological foundations of education energize me to extend the application of these disciplines in the teaching learning process.
Being an activist in the social and educational fields of the State, I have opportunities to intervene through print and digital media for influencing the teacher- learner community. I have conducted more than 1000 training programmes for the teachers to equip them to overcome the challenges and conflicts. As a resource person at Human Resource Development Centre of the University Grants Commission (UGC-the Apex body of Higher Education of India) I interact with higher education teachers from all parts of the Nation. As a member of various of administrative and academic bodies of University and State Government, I extend my services for curriculum reforming and effective curricular transaction at various stages of Education.
