About
I am a neuroscience researcher studying the mechanisms underlying stroke, vascular dementia, and depression. My work focuses on how molecular and cellular changes translate into cognitive and behavioral outcomes, with particular interest in sex differences and adaptive responses such as ischemic preconditioning. By integrating behavioral models with transcriptomic and systems-level approaches, I aim to better understand disease progression, vulnerability, and recovery. My broader goal is to contribute to biologically informed and clinically relevant strategies for neurovascular and neuropsychiatric disorders.
