Dr. Sangita Chaudhari is working as Professor and Head in Computer Science and Engineering Department at Ramrao Adik Institute of Technology, D. Y Patil Deemed to be University, Nerul, Navi Mumbai. She has completed her UG and PG in Computer Engineering in 1999 and 2008 respectively. She has earned PhD from IIT Bombay in Geospatial Data Security in 2016. She has 23 years of teaching and research experience.
She has published 70+ research papers in reputed Journals and Conferences. She authored textbooks titled Digital Forensics and Cyber Security and Laws. She has two edited books in the area of Image Processing and Geospatial Analytics on her accounts.
Dr. Sangita Chaudhari is IEEE senior member, IEEE GRSS and IEEE WIE member, ACM, CSI, ISRS life member and ISTE life member. She is former Chair of IEEE WIE affinity group Bombay section and former Vice chair of IEEE GRSS Bombay Chapter.
She is manuscript reviewer of many Indian and International Journals. She has been a conference chair, session chair and reviewer of many National and International conferences.
She has organized technical workshops and activities for UG/PG students and faculties under umbrella of IEEE GRSS. She has delivered invited talks and conducted workshops in the domain of GIS, Image Processing and Cyber Security.
Her research interests include Satellite Image Processing, Pattern Recognition, Information Security, Advanced Databases, Geographic Information System, Data Analytics and High-Performance Computing.
