Dr. Reshu Shukla is a distinguished academic with over 15 years of experience in English Literature, Language, and Professional Communication. She holds an M.A. in English, a B.Ed., an MBA in Human Resource Management, and a Ph.D. in English, and is currently an Assistant Professor at S.B.D.P.G. College Dhampur, Bijnor, as well as a Research Supervisor at M.J.P. University, Bareilly.
Her research interests are rich and varied, encompassing feminist literary studies, contemporary English literature, professional and technical communication, second-language acquisition, and the development of soft skills in education. Dr. Shukla’s academic contributions align with these interests, evidenced by her authorship of several influential books, numerous chapters in edited volumes, and research papers published in UGC Care List and peer-reviewed journals.
In addition to her research, Dr. Shukla is recognized for her multifaceted roles as an author, editor, feminist advocate, soft-skills trainer, and career counselor. She serves on the Editorial Board of Creative Saplings, an international peer-reviewed journal, and is a guest editor at Quintessential, an international, open-access, high-quality, peer-reviewed quarterly journal. Her expertise also extends to content development, particularly her work on second-language instruction for the MHRD-UGC ePathshala Project.
Dr. Shukla has played significant roles in academic administration, including as Organising Secretary for the ICSSR-sponsored National Seminar in 2023, coordinator of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, member of the IQAC, center superintendent for the BTE exam, and head examiner for various academic bodies.
Her dedication to education also manifests in the digital realm, where she shares her knowledge through lectures on Business Communication and Soft Skills available on YouTube. Dr. Shukla’s commitment to her research and her passion for educational and professional development continue to influence and inspire the academic community.
