Anuj Saini
Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology Surat, Chaudhary Charan Singh University
About
I am an Assistant Professor of Chemistry at ABES Institute of Technology, Ghaziabad, specializing in the synthesis and application of fluorescent polymeric nanoparticles for sensing. He holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from S. V. National Institute of Technology (SVNIT), Surat, where his research focused on using Vitamin B6 cofactors and salicylaldehyde-conjugated polymers for sensitive detection of various analytes, including doxorubicin, heavy metal ions, and glutathione.
His expertise includes designing and characterizing novel sensor materials and applying various spectroscopic techniques such as FTIR, UV-Vis, and fluorescence. Dr. Saini has presented his findings at national and international conferences and has a record of international publications in reputable journals like Microchimica Acta, ACS Applied Nano Materials, and New Journal of Chemistry.
Prior to his Ph.D., I worked as a Project Assistant on a DST-sponsored research project at CCS University, Meerut, focusing on molecularly imprinted polymers for biomarker detection. His professional experience also includes roles as a Guest Lecturer in Chemistry and as a Production Supervisor in the pharmaceutical industry, providing him with a versatile background in both academia and industry. He qualified for the GATE exam in 2016.
