Presently senior professor and unit head of Department of Medicine at KS HEGDE MEDICAL ACADEMY MANGALORE which is constituent unit of NITTE DEEMED TO BE UNIVERSITY.
I Have a vast experience of teaching of both undergraduates and post graduates for the past 30 Years and has trained many post graduate students and PhD scholars.
I have an around 50 publications to my credit in both national and international indexed journals.
I have been External examiner for both UG And PG examinations at various universities including Manipal University, Rajiv Gandhi University, Kerala University, Goa University, and Maharashtra university.
I have been Member (and Member secretary) of University Ethics Committee at NITTE Deemed to be university and Member of Board of Research at NITTE Deemed to be University.
I had been President of Association of Physicians of India Dakshina Kannada District Chapter.
I am an active member of various professional associations including Association of Physicians of India, National Academy of Medical Sciences, Rheumatology association of India, and Indian Medical Association.
