Arjun Prakash is an Assistant Professor of Economics at Azim Premji University. He completed his PhD in Economics from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, where his doctoral research examined gender and social disparities in labour markets, with a focus on employment, wages and structural inequality in India’s technology sector. His research lies at the intersection of labour economics, development economics, inequality studies and the economics of technology. He is committed to contributing to a more inclusive and equitable society through his teaching, research and academic engagement.
