Dishank Purandare

About

My research focuses on drug discovery, design, and development, with a particular interest in integrating computational and experimental approaches to identify and optimise novel therapeutic candidates. I am deeply engaged in the exploration of small molecules and nano-based delivery systems, with an emphasis on cancer therapeutics and targeted drug delivery. Currently, I am working at Nichem Solutions in the area of analytical method development, where I focus on establishing robust, validated, and assessing the quality of pharmaceutical compounds.
I am also motivated to explore the role of advanced instrumentation, polymeric systems, and bioanalytical techniques in overcoming challenges in pharmacokinetics and bioavailability. I also hold multiple patents across India and the UK, including innovations like a face mask for synthesising hazardous chemicals and AI-based micro-reactor systems; an Instrument for testing the analgesic activity, etc.
