Graduated with Chemistry Major from University of Calcutta(1986), Masters from college of Science and technology, University of Calcutta(1988), Doctoral from Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur(1994), Post doctoral from Universite de Reims, France(2003) with CNRS fellowship and one year teaching experience as Assistant Professor at Kyunghee University, Seoul, Republic of Korea. Present occupation is Principal at Ramsaday College, Howrah, an institute registered under UGC act 12B and 2F and reaccredited by NAAC with grade B+. Has a teaching experience of 26 years in undergraduate course and five years in post graduate course as guest faculty in Indian Institute of Engineering, Science & Technology(IIEST-Shibpur). Has 30 research publications in national and international journals and reviewed around 50 research papers in different academic journals. Member of the editorial board in two international journals and supervised dissertation of two research scholars till date. Participated and presented papers/posters in several international conferences held at China, Italy, Munich, New Zealand.
