Dr. Debajyoti Bora

About

Dr. Debajyoti Bora had completed his M.Sc., M.Phil. and Ph.D in Statistics from Dibrugarh University, Dibrugarh. He has also done B.Ed. from Dibrugarh University, PGDCA from Gauhati University, Guwahati and PGDHE from IGNOU, Delhi. Presently, he is serving as Assistant Professor and Head, Department of Statistics, Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Adarsha Mahavidyalaya, Eraligool, Karimganj. Prior to this, he served various institutions like Assam University, Silchar, CKB Commerce College, Jorhat and Kaziranga University, Jorhat. He has authored 12 research papers in various peer reviewed national and international journals and has 6 book chapters to his credit. He has also presented 23 papers in various International and National Conferences and webinars. His paper titled “Comparison of Fuzzy Logic, Artificial Neural Networks, Neuro Fuzzy Inference System and Linear Discriminant Analysis in Diabetes Risk Classification” awarded with Rank 1 paper in International Conference on “Recent trends in Science and Technology” on 29th June, 2022 and his paper titled “Artificial Intelligence in Identifying Short Birth Spacing: A Comparative Study” awarded with Best Paper in 2nd International Conference on “AI for Sustainable Development: Challenges and Opportunities” on 25th November, 2022. He had also acted as resource person in FDP, interactive session, webinar and online certificate course. His research interest includes Statistical Learning, Fuzzy Inference System, Bio-statistics and Population studies.
