About

Saket Sharma is an Assistant Librarian at Rashtriya Ayurveda Vidyapeetha, New Delhi, with professional experience in academic and specialized library and information services. He has previously worked with Central Sanskrit University, where he served in Knowledge Resource Centres, and has also gained professional experience through internships at TERI and the Institute of Secretariat Training and Management.

He holds a Master’s degree in Library and Information Science from the University of Delhi and a Bachelor’s degree in Library and Information Science from Indira Gandhi National Open University. He also holds a B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering.

His professional and research interests include digital libraries, library automation, open-source library software, artificial intelligence and machine learning in libraries, digital literacy, social media applications in libraries, Library 4.0, and the use of emerging technologies in library and information services. He has contributed research papers, conference papers, and book chapters in the fields of library and information science, digital technologies, artificial intelligence, and technology-enabled library services.
