About
I am a media academician with over 5 years of experience in sports journalism. I completed my master’s and Ph.D. in Mass Communication from Banaras Hindu University (BHU). During my active years as a sports journalist, I had the opportunity to cover numerous prestigious sporting events, including men's and women's ODIs & T20Is, the Indian Premier League (IPL), the Premier Badminton League (PBL), the Mumbai Marathon, the Khelo India Games, and the MRF Car Rally, among others. My bylines can also be found in Outlook magazine, Sportskeeda, The Quint, and Kashmir Reader. During my Ph.D. years, I was part of a team that developed modules for PG students of the ‘Women, Media and Films’ subject under MHRD’s E-Pathshala project. In my current role as an Assistant Professor at Amity University Rajasthan, I specialize in subjects like print journalism, online journalism, sports journalism, and film studies.
