About
Hi, I'm Sashanka Sekhar Dash, a passionate PhD student in the Department of Entomology at the College of Agriculture, Orissa University of Agriculture and Technology (OUAT), Bhubaneswar. My research interest lies in the field of insecticide toxicology, where I aim to contribute to the understanding of the impact of insecticides on insect populations and develop sustainable pest management strategies.
I am proud to share that I have achieved significant milestones in my academic journey. I have successfully qualified for the ICAR Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) with a rank of 18 and the ICAR Senior Research Fellowship (SRF) with a rank of 8. Additionally, I have also qualified the highly competitive ICAR National Eligibility Test (NET).
During my PhD program, I have been actively engaged in conducting innovative research, analyzing data, and presenting my findings at national and international conferences. I am also passionate about sharing knowledge and have mentored undergraduate students in their research projects.
Through my academic pursuits, I strive to make meaningful contributions to the field of entomology and promote sustainable agricultural practices. I am dedicated to expanding my understanding of insecticide toxicology and its implications in order to address the challenges posed by insect pests in agriculture.
