Dr. Amrik Singh is an Assistant Professor at the Centre for The Promotion of Ecological, Adventure, Health & Cultural Tourism within the School of Tourism, Travel, & Hospitality Management at Central University of Himachal Pradesh in Dharamshala. Holding a Ph.D. in Tourism Management, a Master's degree in Tourism Administration, and a Master's in Economics, Dr. Singh has a robust academic foundation rooted in economics and geography from Himachal Pradesh University, Summerhill Shimla.

Dr. Singh's dynamic career spans notable roles with Travel Corporation (I) Pvt. Ltd, Cox & King (I) Pvt. Ltd, and the Dalmia Group's Sun Shine Tourism Services (I) Pvt. Ltd. His expertise extends to freelance consultancy, where he champions off-site experiences in Himachal for both international and Indian markets. Additionally, he has enriched students' learning experiences as part of the faculty at Centre of Excellence Government Degree College, Sanjauli, Shimla.

Beyond academia and consultancy, Dr. Singh actively contributes to the tourism industry through his involvement with the Global Agri Network (GAN), participating in various committees such as Research, Definition & Standards, Education, and Communications. The People & Global Business Association (P&GBA) Association Member, His dedication to outreach and extension activities is reflected in his roles within the CUHP Outreach, Extensions & UGC Notification Committee, and as Deputy Director of the International Student Center at Central University Himachal Pradesh. Dr. Singh's work is a testament to his commitment to advancing ecology, adventure, health, and cultural tourism.
