About
I am a researcher and academic specialising in Genetics and Plant Breeding, with expertise in crop improvement, molecular breeding, genetic diversity, nutritional quality, and genotype × environment interaction. I received my PhD in Genetics and Plant Breeding from Banda University of Agriculture and Technology, Banda, Uttar Pradesh, in 2025. His doctoral research focused on iron and zinc biofortification in lentil, particularly the evaluation of G × E interaction and expression of iron- and zinc-related genes.
I have contributed to research on diverse crops, including lentil, finger millet, kodo millet, foxtail millet, barnyard millet, wheat, maize, pigeon pea, field pea, and Indian mustard. His research integrates conventional breeding with modern approaches such as AMMI, GGE biplot, molecular characterization, qRT-PCR, bioinformatics, and advanced statistical analysis. He has published research and review articles in reputed peer-reviewed journals, including BMC Plant Biology and Scientific Reports. He has also received the Best Research Scholar and Best M.Sc. Thesis awards.
