About

A highly accomplished academic and seasoned professional with extensive experience in the fields of economics, commerce, and finance. He holds a distinguished academic record, having earned a PhD in Economics as a UGC Fellow from North Bengal University, a Post-Graduate degree in Commerce from Calcutta University, and an MBA from the IISWBM.

Furthermore, he has attained several professional memberships, including the status of Fellow Member of The Institute of Cost Accountants of India and Institution of Valuers, and is also a member of the Operational Research Society, UK, and Indian Public Health Association.

He has demonstrated exceptional leadership skills by holding several key positions throughout his career, including his current role as Sr. Director and Secretary to Studies, Advanced Studies, Placement, Agriculture Cost Management Board, Sustainability Standards Board and Technical Cell at ICMAI. His prior experience also includes holding the position of CEO at ICMAI Registered Valuers Organisation and Director- Research, Journal and Examination.

He worked as an Associate Professor of Finance and CIMA Course Leader at Symbiosis International University, Pune. He also served as an Assistant Professor of Commerce at the University of North Bengal. Furthermore, he has been invited as a guest faculty at esteemed institutions such as IIFT, NMIMS, EDII, IMT and others.

An accomplished editor, serving as the Editor of two ICMAI publications - The Management Accountant (UGC CARE Listed) and Research Bulletin. Additionally, he has held esteemed positions in the editorial boards of prominent international journals, including his former role as Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Productivity Management & Assessment Technologies, IGI-Global, USA, and as former Guest Editor of the International Journal of Business Performance Management, Inderscience, Switzerland.

He has authored several books on management, economics, business communication, entrepreneurship development, and performance management. He has also been an active participant in many national and international conferences and has conducted several consultancy/research projects.

Currently, he is the Course Director for various online courses at ICMAI, including Data Analytics, IS Audit, SAP, Advanced Business Excel, Cost & Management Accounting for Engineers, Forensic Audit, and Financial Modeling & Valuation, among others.

His impressive academic and professional accomplishments, make him a highly respected and valued member of the academic and professional communities.
