About

The research focuses on developing advanced Ga₂O₃-based self-powered broadband photodetectors, integrating materials such as molybdenum disulfide (MoS₂), gallium selenide (GaSe), and tungsten selenide (WSe₂) to extend detection capabilities across the ultraviolet (UV), visible, and near-infrared (NIR) regions. These heterostructures enhance the performance of Ga₂O₃, overcoming its limited response in the visible and NIR ranges. Her work also explores the use of plasmonic gold nanoparticles (Au-NPs) to further improve photodetection through localized surface plasmon resonance, enabling the development of self-powered photodetectors ideal for many applications. Additionally, she has designed ultra-flexible, wearable UV photodetectors based on Ga₂O₃ films grown on substrates such as paper and mica. These lightweight, adaptable devices demonstrate high efficiency and hold significant potential for modern applications in environmental monitoring, biomedical diagnostics, and industrial safety. Her research provides valuable insights into material properties, device engineering, and the development of next-generation flexible broadband optical detectors.
