About
My research focuses on the interface between Metallobiology and translational research, with a primary focus on developing next-generation therapeutics for Wilson disease. My scientific interests span metabolic disorders, ageing, redox-regulated disease processes, cell death, and survival strategies, in which dysregulated metal homeostasis and redox imbalance converge to drive pathology. I aim to uncover mechanistic links between metal trafficking, cellular stress responses, and disease progression, and to translate these insights into innovative therapeutic platforms using chemical biology tools.
I bring strong interdisciplinary expertise spanning molecular biology and chemical biology, with advanced technical proficiency in CRISPR–Cas9 genome editing, high-resolution microscopy, and in vivo disease models, including zebrafish and C. elegans.
I am actively seeking postdoctoral opportunities in leading research environments to expand my research interest at the interface of fundamental biology and clinical translation.
