About
I am a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Florida with expertise in multimodal neuroimaging, including functional MRI (fMRI), diffusion MRI, arterial spin labeling (ASL), resting-state functional connectivity, blood-brain barrier imaging, and cortical morphology analysis. My research focuses on understanding the neural and vascular mechanisms underlying tinnitus, Long COVID, post-exertional malaise, fatigue, hearing loss, Parkinson's disease, and psychiatric disorders.
My work integrates advanced MRI techniques with physiological and behavioral measures to investigate brain function, cerebrovascular health, and neurovascular coupling in neurological and neuropsychiatric conditions. I have authored peer-reviewed publications in Hearing Research, Cerebral Cortex, Journal of Affective Disorders, Brain Topography and Journal of Neuroscience.
I am a recipient of the DST INSPIRE Fellowship and the ISMRM Indian Chapter Best Poster Award (2025). My current research aims to identify imaging biomarkers of disease mechanisms and treatment response, with a particular emphasis on cerebrovascular dysfunction, autonomic regulation, and functional brain networks.
