About

I am working in the fields of Active Tectonics, Paleoseismology, and Tectonic geomorphology. For the last four years, I have been working in the Himalaya to identify and mapping of active faults along the Himalayan frontal belt. We have excavated several trenches along the Himalayan Frontal Thrust (HFT) to identify the past great Himalayan earthquakes. It is an effort to understand past earthquakes and the future potential of earthquake occurrence on Himalayan faults.
