About
I am a biochemist with research expertise in ethnopharmacology, natural product drug discovery, and experimental pharmacology. My work focuses on the identification and mechanistic evaluation of bioactive phytochemicals with anticancer and antidiabetic potential, integrating in vitro, in vivo, and in silico approaches.
I have hands-on experience in enzyme inhibition assays, cell-based cytotoxicity and apoptosis studies, oxidative stress analysis, and OECD-compliant toxicity evaluations. My research also involves molecular docking, ADMET prediction, and cheminformatics to elucidate protein–ligand interactions and multi-target mechanisms of action.
I have authored first-author Q1 publications in journals such as ACS Omega, Natural Product Research, and Journal of Ethnopharmacology, with additional work published in Industrial Crops & Products. My current research interests include ethnopharmacological validation of medicinal plants, phytochemical profiling, cancer biology, metabolic disorder therapeutics, and translational natural-product research.
