About

I am Ayash Ashraf, an Anaesthesia technologist and academician presently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Allied and Health Sciences at Guru Kashi University. I completed my BSc and MSc in Anaesthesia Technology from Adesh University, where I developed a strong foundation in anaesthesia care, perioperative management, and clinical research.

During my academic journey, I actively participated in teaching, seminars, workshops, and research activities related to anaesthesia and patient safety. My postgraduate thesis focused on the comparison of the incidence of postoperative nausea and vomiting (PONV) between general anaesthesia and regional anaesthesia in patients undergoing elective surgeries.

I hold certifications in Advanced Life Support (ALS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Computer Applications. My areas of interest include airway management, patient monitoring, pain management, emergency care, and the role of artificial intelligence in modern anaesthesia practice.

I have also contributed to scientific literature with a publication in a Wiley-associated journal with DOI: 10.1155/jcpt/6643853.

As an educator and healthcare professional, I remain committed to promoting evidence-based practice, clinical excellence, and quality education in the field of allied and health sciences.
