MULAT TAZEBEW
Ethiopian Independent Researcher, Philosophical Thinker, Author, and Interdisciplinary Writer
Mulat Tazebew is an Ethiopian independent researcher, philosophical thinker, and writer whose work explores consciousness, reality, non-duality, metaphysics, information, symbolic systems, simulation theory, mathematics, and the relationship between human perception and the structure of reality.
Born on April 3, 1984, in Ethiopia, Tazebew developed an early interest in questions concerning identity, consciousness, perception, existence, and the nature of reality. His intellectual development combines practical experience in business and organizational management with an increasingly independent program of philosophical and interdisciplinary research.
Tazebew studied at Bahir Dar University and initially pursued a conventional professional path in business and management. His subsequent career included management and organizational responsibilities, including work associated with business and development organizations. Over time, however, his interests increasingly shifted from conventional organizational and economic questions toward philosophy, consciousness, metaphysics, symbolic systems, and fundamental questions concerning existence.
His present work is primarily conducted as an independent researcher and writer. His publications are disseminated through academic and scholarly platforms including Academia.edu and, where applicable, SSRN, alongside other scholarly and public research repositories.
INTELLECTUAL RESEARCH PROGRAM
A central question running through Tazebew's work is whether the reality ordinarily experienced by human beings is fundamental or whether it represents an appearance generated through perception, cognition, information, symbolic differentiation, and consciousness.
Rather than treating the apparently physical world as an unquestioned foundation, his writings investigate whether concepts such as matter, space, time, self, observer, identity, and even existence itself emerge through processes of definition and distinction.
This has led to the development of several interconnected theoretical frameworks.
The Phantom Code
The Phantom Code is a conceptual framework through which Tazebew examines the possibility that what human beings experience as physical reality and individual consciousness may constitute a computational, informational, or holographic appearance rather than an independently existing material substrate.
The framework explores self-reference, perception, information, simulation, memory, and the apparent continuity of individual identity.
Nullology
Nullology is Tazebew's proposed philosophical investigation of non-existence, nothingness, and the conceptual limits of existence.
Rather than treating nothingness merely as the absence of matter, Nullology examines whether the concepts of existence and non-existence can themselves provide a stable ontological foundation.
His work investigates the paradox that once "nothing" is defined, it becomes something conceptually defined, raising questions about whether absolute nothingness can ever be coherently described.
Post-Definitional Existence
Another major element of Tazebew's work is the proposition that reality as experienced by consciousness is inseparable from processes of definition.
In this framework, distinctions such as self and other, subject and object, inside and outside, time and space, and existence and non-existence are examined as structures through which an apparently coherent world becomes available to experience.
The question therefore shifts from "What exists?" to a more fundamental question: "How does something become defined as existing?"
Holographic Consciousness
Tazebew's writings also explore consciousness through a holographic and informational model.
Within this approach, perception, memory, identity, emotion, and the experienced world are treated as interconnected informational structures rather than as completely independent phenomena.
His work examines whether consciousness can be understood not merely as a product generated by the brain but as a fundamental component of the structure through which reality becomes experienced.
The TPC Framework
The Time, Place, and Conditions framework, or TPC, is another recurring structural concept in Tazebew's research.
TPC examines the conditions through which events, identities, experiences, and distinctions become intelligible. Time, place, and conditions are treated not simply as passive coordinates but as elements participating in the construction of an experienced event.
The framework subsequently becomes connected to his broader investigation of causality, perception, memory, identity, and the apparent structure of reality.
The Mulat-Aksum Matrix
The Mulat-Aksum Matrix is a mathematical-symbolic framework associated with Tazebew's attempts to investigate relationships among numerical structures, Ethiopian/Aksumite symboli
