About

I am Anantkumar R. Patil, a passionate forensic science professional with a specialization in Forensic Physics and Ballistics. I hold a Master’s degree in Forensic Science from Gujarat University and a Bachelor’s degree in Forensic Science from Yashavantrao Chavan Institute of Science, Satara. Currently, I serve as an Assistant Professor and Teaching & Research Associate at NSIT-IFSCS (affiliated with NFSU), where I teach Criminal Law, General Forensics, and Forensic Physics. I also manage the Physical Sciences Laboratory, ensuring students acquire practical, hands-on experience.

My professional journey includes valuable experience in evidence analysis and expertise in advanced forensic tools such as Cellebrite UFED, FTK Imager, and 3D scanning, honed during my internship at the Regional Forensic Science Laboratory (RFSL), Surat. My research contributions have been recognized at notable conferences like ETEC-2021, where I secured second place for my research poster, and ICRDFSC-2021.

Beyond academics, I have demonstrated leadership and organizational skills as a student editor of my college magazine and a cultural representative. Fluent in English, Hindi, Marathi, and Gujarati, I am dedicated to leveraging emerging technologies to enhance forensic science education and practice. My commitment to teaching, research, and innovation drives my vision of inspiring future forensic professionals and contributing to advancing the field.
