About

I am a postgraduate in Zoology with a specialization in Insect Taxonomy and Agricultural Entomology. My research interests focus on understanding insect taxonomy, their life cycles, and how they adapt to changing environments. Currently, I am working as a Research Assistant at NIAS, Bangalore, where I study the diversity and ecology of ants from Assam. Alongside this, I have gained experience through internships at NCBS, where I examined patterns of arthropod diversity in the Nilgiri Shola grasslands, a biodiversity-rich ecosystem in Tamil Nadu and with Wildlife Crime Control Bureau (WCCB), I contributed to studies on lesser-known carnivores. I also assist with the IUCN’s Sloth Bear Habitat Mapping Project
