About

I am a Bangladeshi public health researcher, population scientist, and early-career epidemiologist with a focus on population health, non-communicable and infectious disease epidemiology, spatial analysis, and health inequalities in low- and middle-income countries. I completed my MSc in Population Science and Human Resource Development at the University of Rajshahi on a full merit scholarship, where my thesis examined sociodemographic determinants of 10-year cardiovascular disease risk in Bangladesh. My undergraduate research explored adolescent mental health in Dhaka.

Since 2023, I have been involved in research, contributing to nationally and internationally funded projects using large-scale datasets such as DHS and MICS. My work spans cardiovascular disease, diabetes, maternal and child health, refugee health, vaccination hesitancy, disability, and women’s empowerment. I have published in peer-reviewed journals, contributed to competitive grant proposals, mentor junior researchers, and serve as a peer reviewer for international journals.
