About

I am presently working as scientist in Biodiversity Park Programme of DDA at CEMDE, Delhi University, Delhi. I have been working in the field of environment biotechnology and restoration ecology since last 18 years. I did my Ph. D from Delhi University in Ecological Restoration of Degraded Mined out Areas of Iron Ore mines at Odisha. I have been also led team which has created many success stories on ecological restoration project by CEMDE; University of Delhi in degraded mined our areas of coal field, calcium dolomites mines and iron ore mines own by Coal India Ltd., SAIL and others. I have been trained in assessment of below ground biodiversity using molecular tools and also, I am quite familiar in developing sustainable livelihood options at ecologically restored ecosystem in tribal dominated areas.
