Dr. Rohit Kumar Singh is an Assistant Professor Department of Agronomy at the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences, GLA University, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, India. Dr. Rohit Kumar Singh holds a Ph.D. in Agronomy from Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel University of Agriculture & Technology (SVPUA&T), Meerut, and qualified ASRB-ICAR NET in Agronomy in 2017. Dr. Singh has more than six years of teaching, research, and academic administrative experience in agricultural sciences. Prior to joining GLA University, he served as Assistant Professor at Chandigarh University, Punjab, and Shree Guru Gobind Singh Tricentenary University (SGTU), Gurugram, Haryana. His research focuses on precision nutrient management, nitrogen use efficiency, rice–wheat cropping systems, sustainable agriculture, soil fertility management, nano-fertilizers, and climate-smart agriculture. He has published numerous research and review papers in reputed national and international journals including Plant Science Today, Frontiers in Microbiology, Plant-Environment Interactions, Legume Research, Progressive Agriculture, and International Journal of Chemical Studies. Dr. Singh is actively involved in research guidance, accreditation activities (NAAC & ICAR), laboratory management, and agricultural research coordination. He serves as reviewer for several reputed journals including Frontiers in Agronomy, Frontiers in Sustainable Food Systems, International Journal of Agronomy, Journal of Soil Science and Plant Nutrition, and various ARCC journals.
He has received several recognitions including the Young Professional Award (2018), Young Scientist Award (2019), and Young Agronomist Award (2026) for his contributions to agricultural research and education. His professional expertise includes precision nutrient management, agronomic field experimentation, soil and plant analysis, statistical data interpretation, and sustainable crop production technologies.
