Dr. Amol D. Mali is Associate Professor in Computer Science at Univesity of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. AI planning, AI ethics, IoT, data science, autonomous agents, robot motion planning, computer game design, AI in healthcare, diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), and higher education are his research interests. He has taught the following courses at UW-Milwaukee: Artificial Intelligence (graduate), Computational Models of Decision-Making (graduate), Robot Motion Planning (graduate), AI Planning Techniques (graduate), Mathematical and Computing Fundamentals for IT Professionals (graduate course for MSIST), Introduction to Artificial Intelligence (undergraduate), Discrete Information Structures (undergraduate), Computer Game Design (undergraduate), Introduction to Machine Learning (undergraduate). He has served on editorial boards of three journals and served as Lead Program Chair, Program Committee Member, Area Chair, or reviewer for numerous international conferences. He has served as ABET (Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology) Coordinator for B.S. (Computer Science) since Fall 2010 and led the program to six-year accreditation valid until 2021 and 2027.
