About
I am a Zoologist with a passion for the natural world and I am on a journey of scientific exploration that has spanned nearly two decades. I earned my Bachelor's degree in Zoology, Botany and Chemistry from a prestigious university, where my fascination with the world of living beings especially animals, took root. I went on to complete my Masters and Ph.D. in Zoology, delving deep into the study of animal communication patterns and their underlying genetic and environmental influences. Throughout my academic career, my research has been characterized by its interdisciplinary nature, blending elements of Ethology, Genetics, Stress physiology, Biochemistry, and Ecology etc. Inspired by my curiosity I decided to delve deeper into the intricacies of animal behaviour, particularly focusing on how environmental factors and stress influence various species. In accordance my research areas include Environmental changes, Anthropogenic activities, Molecular Biology, Stress physiology, Ethology, Biochemistry, Cellular study, Indian Knowledge System, Drug screening etc.
Apart from my research, I have an engaging teaching style and am dedicated to mentoring the next generation of zoologists. I try to make complex biological concepts accessible to students of all levels. In addition to my academic pursuits, I am a strong advocate for environmental conservation and science communication. I have attended many National as well as International Conferences, Seminars, Webinars etc. and written papers, articles, book chapters on relevant topics.
