About
My active research includes - Characterization of Fracture Networks from Reservoir Analogs: A Flow Simulation Approach. Under this arena new field development strategies have been developed in correlation with fracture geometrical properties of the sub-surface to optimize fluid production. Application of AI / ML and data science in optimized reservoir characterization and field development strategies is another field of my research interest. As a whole my research has the potential of opening up new avenues of understanding the exploration and production of fluids in both conventional and unconventional (fractured) reservoirs. The research outputs can be utilized by the upstream O&G sector by implementation of the analysis methodology on real field core and log data to achieve more recovery at a minimal cost.
