About
Dr. Sanketa Jena has completed her Ph.D. research specializing in 2D materials, thin films, and MXene-based nanostructures for energy storage and corrosion-resistant applications. Her doctoral research focuses on the synthesis and characterization of transition metal multilayered thin films and alloys, along with nitride-based MXenes and their heterostructures with rGO and transition metals. She has extensive experience in thin-film deposition via DC magnetron sputtering, surface and structural characterization (XPS, XRD, Raman, SEM, TEM, PL, UV-Vis, FTIR, and BET), and advanced electrochemical analysis (CV, GCD, EIS, linear polarization). Her work has demonstrated improved electrochemical capacitance, corrosion resistance, and tunable optoelectronic properties in MXene and composite systems.
