Rajat Shahane (Member, IEEE) received the B.Tech degree in electrical engineering from the Yeshwantrao Chavan College of Engineering, Nagpur, India, in 2016, the M.Tech. degree in integrated power system from the Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology, Nagpur (VNIT), Nagpur, India, in 2018. He joined the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IIT Bombay), Mumbai, India in 2019 where he is currently pursuing his PhD in electrical engineering. Before joining IIT Bombay, he was associated with Bombardier Transportation working as Propulsion Control Engineer. In 2022, he was a Visiting Scholar at the center for high performance power electronics, The Ohio State University, Columbus, OH, USA. His research interest includes high frequency gate drivers, silicon carbide based modular medium voltage converters and multilevel converters.
