Dr. Krushna Chandra Sethi is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at Centurion University of Technology and Management, Odisha. He earned his Ph.D. in Transportation Engineering from Dr. K.N. Modi University (2018–2023), following an M. Tech from the prestigious CSIR-Central Road Research Institute, New Delhi (2015–2017), and a B. Tech from IGIT Sarang, Odisha (2011–2015). In 2024, he further enhanced his expertise by completing a Problem-Based Learning certification from Aalborg University, Denmark.

Dr. Sethi’s research expertise spans flexible pavement design, asphalt mixture evaluation, pavement materials, transportation planning, and Building Information Modelling (BIM). He holds three patents, has published over 20 research articles in leading journals, and actively participates in national and international conferences.

He served as the Principal Investigator for the notable “Patch Fill Innovative Solution for Repair of Potholes in India” project under TEQIP-III (2019–2021). His academic excellence has been recognized through several accolades, including the Best Paper Presentation Award at IICESM-2016, the CSIR Junior Research Fellowship, and the Best Performer Faculty Award (2024) at CUTM.

With more than eight years of teaching experience, Dr. Sethi plays a vital role in institutional development by undertaking key administrative responsibilities and contributing to quality assurance initiatives. In 2025, he was honored with the Eminent Achiever Award by the Vice-Chancellor of CUTM in recognition of his exemplary performance.
