About
I am a PhD candidate at IIT Bombay, working on improving urban water supply systems. Water supply in most developing countries is intermittent, i.e., supplied for just a few hours a day. The extent of intermittency and associated problems affects more than a billion people worldwide! My research revolves around understanding this intermittency and providing locally suited strategies to improve the water supply systems. Through my research, I aim to have a positive impact, especially by ensuring households have adequate water and reducing the drudgery of fetching water.
