About
Vishal Sharma is a passionate and dedicated researcher currently working under the supervision of Virender Singh at Central University of Punjab. My research interests lie in synthetic organic chemistry, heterocyclic chemistry, green chemistry, and the development of biologically significant molecular frameworks. I am deeply motivated toward innovation-driven research and the development of efficient synthetic methodologies with practical and pharmaceutical relevance.
Before entering advanced academic research, I gained valuable industrial experience at Jubilant Ingrevia, where I developed hands-on expertise in industrial chemical processes, analytical techniques, and research-oriented problem solving. This blend of industrial exposure and academic training has strengthened my ability to connect fundamental science with real-world applications.
I have authored and co-authored more than 12 research publications in reputed international journals and have also contributed to patent-related innovations. My research work mainly focuses on sustainable synthetic approaches, catalytic transformations, and the synthesis of advanced heterocyclic systems with potential biological applications.
With a strong commitment to scientific excellence, continuous learning, and collaborative research, I aspire to contribute meaningfully to the advancement of organic chemistry and interdisciplinary scientific innovation.
