About

Law academic and interdisciplinary researcher specialising in international law, human rights, international criminal justice and international humanitarian law, with over ten years of university-level teaching and research experience (2016–present). PhD (International Organisation), School of International Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University — thesis submitted June 2026 — examining the investigation and prosecution of gender-based crimes against women by the International Criminal Court.

Research and teaching are organised around Public International Law, International Human Rights Law, International Criminal Law, International Humanitarian Law, International Organisations, International Courts and Tribunals, Gender Justice, Conflict-Related Sexual Violence, Global Governance and Constitutional Law, with International Organisation and International Relations serving as interdisciplinary dimensions of this legal research agenda.

International research experience includes the International Criminal Court and Peace Palace Library in The Hague, the Hague Academy of International Law, iCourts at the University of Copenhagen, the University of Bergen, Tilburg Law School and the University of Antwerp. Research has been externally funded (ICSSR; Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation/Indian Statistical Institute), supported by a peer-reviewed publication record, and complemented by sustained commitment to student mentoring and experiential legal education.
