About
Dr. Vishal Chandel completed his Ph.D. in Mathematics from the National Institute of Technology Hamirpur in October 2025. His doctoral research, titled “Linear and Nonlinear Analyses of Thermal Convection in a Partially Ionized Plasma,” focused on the stability characteristics of partially ionized plasma systems. Currently, he is serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at Chandigarh University. His research interests include magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) stability, plasma dynamics, thermal convection, Walters’ B′ viscoelastic fluids, and couple stress fluids, with an emphasis on advanced mathematical modeling and stability analysis.
