I did my Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) with major in Chemistry from Cotton College, Guwahati, India; Master of Science (M.Sc.) - with specialization in Physical Chemistry - from the University of Delhi; and PhD in Applied Theoretical Chemistry from the School of Chemistry, University of Hyderabad, India under the supervision of Professor E. D. Jemmis.
I have been employed with the Department of Chemistry, Cotton University, Assam, India, first as an Associate Professor and, now as a Professor.
I had previously worked at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem (HUJI), Israel with Prof. Sason Shaik; at the University of Southern California (USC), Los Angeles with Prof. Arieh Warshel; and at Ewha Womans University, Seoul, Korea with Prof. Sun Choi.
