About

I am a materials scientist and research scholar specializing in thermoelectric materials, with a particular focus on low-temperature thermoelectric properties of layered cuprates. Based at the Department of Physics and Materials Science & Engineering, Jaypee Institute of Information Technology (Noida), he completed his Ph.D. (2020–2025) with a thesis titled “Alio-valent ions substitution on low-temperature thermoelectric properties of layered cuprates.” His work aims to understand and optimize structure–property relationships in oxide thermoelectrics for energy-harvesting applications.
During my doctoral research, I developed hands-on expertise in synthesis and characterization techniques, including solid-state reaction synthesis, X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), electrical resistivity, thermopower, and thermal conductivity measurements, Hall measurements, and FTIR. He also designed and operated an in-house fabricated setup for electrical resistivity and thermopower measurements — an asset that strengthened his experimental and instrumentation skills.
I contributed multiple peer-reviewed papers to the thermoelectrics and materials community. Key publications investigate Sr-doped and Co-doped La-based cuprates, as well as the effects of various substitutions and nano-additives on thermoelectric performance below room temperature. He has presented his findings at several national and international conferences and workshops on advanced materials, energy materials, and nanotechnology.
Beyond the lab, I am proficient with analysis and presentation tools (Origin, FullProf, ImageJ, Microsoft Office) and has experience interpreting electrical and thermal transport data to draw meaningful structure–property correlations. He frequently participates in community workshops, such as WAMB and INUP i2i, and values collaborative research — as reflected in co-authored studies and academic references within his institute.
