About
Claus Geruschkat is an independent researcher and author working at the intersection of philosophy, cosmology, complexity theory, and cognitive science. In his work, he explores how coherence emerges across different levels—from physical systems and biological evolution to perception, consciousness, and civilization.
Drawing on many years of observation, contemplative practice, and interdisciplinary synthesis, he develops relational conceptual frameworks such as the “Finite Cyclical Universe” (FCU) and the “Multi-Layer Resonance Model” (MLRM), as well as related approaches to entropy, emergence, and structure.
As a modern Taoist hermit, his approach combines direct experience with theoretical formulation, thereby bridging phenomenology, systems thinking, comparative philosophy, and applied research. His work explores how matter, life, cognition, and meaning are organized through dynamic relationships of coherence and drift.
His research is divided into six interconnected areas: formal theory (FCU), cosmology (CCN), perception (GPUS), applied life (ACS), embodied practice (TFN), and patterns of civilization (POC). Each area operates independently while simultaneously contributing to a unified relational understanding of reality across all scales.
