About
There's a time to work, and there's a time to play.
Let's work today and play tomorrow.
Nazir A. Ganaie is a theoretical physicist currently serving as an Assistant Professor of Physics in the Jammu & Kashmir Higher Education Department. He has made contributions to the fields of black hole thermodynamics, quantum gravity, and AdS/CMT (Anti-de Sitter/Condensed Matter Theory) holography.
He is presently a doctoral researcher at the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Srinagar. His research bridges black-hole physics with next-generation quantum materials. His 2026 work published in Europhysics Letters (EPL) demonstrates how the mathematical frameworks describing the quasinormal modes of black holes can predict electronic energy dissipation in confined graphene channels. He has further advanced this frontier with publications in The European Physical Journal C, exploring quantum-modified thermodynamics using Generalized-Entropy Smarr Residuals.
He specialises in theoretical formalisms, including AdS length constraints and cavity thermodynamics, to explore how geometric corrections and quantum alterations affect black hole horizons and thermal responsiveness. His research aims to uncover deep holographic dualities between cosmological phenomena and lower-dimensional condensed matter systems.
Beyond his theoretical contributions, he is dedicated to regional physics education and science communication, actively making complex physical concepts accessible through his educational YouTube channel, "MASTERING PHYSICS (Prof. Nazir A Ganaie)."
