About

Dr.Parag Amin has over 29 years of experience as an educator and an industry expert and is at present associated with Atlas SkillTech University as the Professor and Registrar. Prior to his present responsibility, he served as Senior Director- Corporate Relations and Director for Atlas’s MBA Program respectively. Before joining Atlas, Dr.Amin was associated with SIES College of Management Studies as the Dean for Marketing. He completed MBA in Marketing after a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering. He received his Ph.D from Mumbai University in the area of Management Studies. His passion for training led him to complete a Diploma in Training & Development from Dr.P.N.Singh’s Centre for HRD. He is also a trained NLP (Neurolinguistic Programming) Practitioner, Coach and Counselor.
Before associating with the academic world, Dr. Amin worked in the corporate sector for over a decade with organizations like Godrej, Aptech, Gulf Computers, etc. and held several key positions.
As an academician, Dr. Amin has been playing a key role in institutional development through various initiatives like forging alliances and relationships with Universities, Institutions and organizations, Undertaking consulting and training assignments for Corporates & Institutions, devising value- add modules for Students, Faculty & Student Development initiatives, leading the National and International accreditation process, etc. He has an in-depth understanding and a first-hand experience of the end-to-end value chain of a Business School (from Admissions to Placements).

Dr.Amin has a great passion for Training, Consulting, Coaching and Mentoring and has delivered over 750hrs of Training/Coaching/Consulting/Mentoring sessions to several leading corporates and startups and over 1000 participants across India and abroad in the areas of Sales, Marketing, Strategic Management, Communication, Mind Management, Stress Management, Personal Branding, Personal growth, Management & leadership lessons from Indian Scriptures, Time Management, etc. He was an empaneled trainer at REMI (Reliance Energy Management Institute) and was one of the 4 trainers who conceived and executed a unique training program titled “Sparsh” for Contact Centre employees of Reliance Energy Ltd. This program received the prestigious ASTD Excellence in Practice Award.
He has published several research papers and articles and has recently been included in the editorial board of Academy of Marketing Studies Journal (ABDC-B) as the Chair-Editorial board. He is also a reviewer and member of editorial board of Business Informatics Journal ISSN 1507-3858, e-ISSN 2450-0003) published by Wroclaw University of Economics and Business, Poland.
Dr. Amin is also serving as upGrad’s honorary Academic Director for the Deakin’s Global MBA Program. He was selected for the prestigious IQAC award for Teaching/Training excellence (2022). He is also the recipient of “Most Influential Global Marketing Leaders Listing: award at the World Marketing Congress (Nov 2019). He was recognized and appreciated for his outstanding contribution to Higher Education by Higher Education Forum (HEF). Dr. Amin served as the Member (evaluator) of the Site-visit Evaluation team for the prestigious ACBSP (Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs), A USA based Accreditating body specializing in accreditating Business schools and programs.
