Dr. Ashok Kumar is Assistant Professor of Library and Information Science in the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU). He holds B.Sc., BLISc, MLISc., MSO, PGDCA, PGDDLDM, Ph.D. (LIS). He has also successfully completed various online courses i.e. Academic Writing, Research Ethics, OER for Empowering Teachers, Emerging Trends and Technologies in LIS, Curriculum Design and e - Content Development. He has about 14 years of experience. His area of interests includes: Management of LICs, ICT Application in Libraries, e- Learning, Quality, and Institutional Ranking, etc
